I cannot exactly rate this item as i never received it. I would have much preferred that the seller decrease or completely waive the shipping costs or offer some type of a fix or give me the option to say cancel the order instead of just chosing to cancel without my knowledge other than an email saying it had been canceled after the fact.
I bought this martini glass as a gift for a friend. The flip flop design is adorable, and the martini recipe on the bottom of the glass is a great addition! It comes in a nice box with lots of padding inside, so all around it makes a wonderful gift! Santa Barbara Ceramic Design: GLS4-5530L Sure to be a hit at your next cocktail party, this lovely glass from Santa Barbara Ceramic Design is an officially licensed item by artist Tracey Lolita Yancey.

I admit it. When I saw my first Honda Element a few years back I thought it was one of the most hideous looking vehicles on the planet. Then I saw the Scion xA and Scion xB, so I quickly relegated the Element to third place. I confess that my earlier feelings about the Element have changed, possibly because I see so many of them on the road these days and perhaps because I see its usefulness. No matter, the Honda Element is a unique looking vehicle and it is a lot less freakish than what you or I may think.

Freedom from convention. That is the saying on Honda’s web site when it comes to labeling the Element. In many ways, this marketing slogan is true. Who says that any vehicle has to conform to what you expect? True, past radical models failed miserably. The Ford Edsel and VW Thing are two that come to mind. Yet, the times are different and a truly “rad” look is in. Real in, if you know what I mean.

The Element does have a practical side to it. Although it is shaped like a breadbox and equipped with two large doors as well as two smaller doors [reminds me of the Saturn ION], the 4WD LX Element has just about what any driver needs for just under USD$20K: ABS; theft deterrent; air conditioning; cruise control; power windows, doors, mirrors, and locks; and a AM/FM/CD audio system with 4 speakers and a clock. Standard powertrain include a feisty 2354cc I4 mated to a 5 speed manual transmission; a four speed automatic is optional but considering that this car is geared toward young people you can pretty much count on the manny tranny winning drivers out over the automatic.

Many of the components for the Element are borrowed from the Civic to give it more of a car like ride, while keeping its truck like appearance. Open all four doors at the same time and the Element evokes a strong resemblance to “suicide doors” that were standard on the 1960s era Lincoln Continentals as well as the Rolls-Royce Phantom. Honda was likely thinking that this design would make it easier for passengers to retrieve all of their gear without popping up the rear hatch and crawling in. Indeed, everything in the Element is easily accessible and the vehicle was designed for the outdoorsman.

Prices start at around $17,500 for the base 2wd model and climb to just over $21,500 for the fully equipped 4wd version. Compared to the average SUV, the Element is priced very competitively and opens up a niche of buyers that Honda hopes to exploit.

Whatever you think of the Element’s looks the vehicle is an attention getter. Judging by the sales, it is a hit with the young crowd.

This beautiful piece has been designed in a 3-dimensional form and matches our Magnolia Decor line. It really is a beautiful piece with plenty of detail, vibrant colors, and a gorgeous design! The holder (made of wood) stands approx. 15″ tall with the base measuring approx. 9″ x 6″. The top of the stand that secures a paper towel roll is made of a high quality ceramic with a very fine gloss finish coating it. There is also a ceramic napkin holder in the front. It can be used to hold napkins or it can be left alone as a front tearing point for the paper towels. This ceramic piece measures approx. 6″ x 4″ x 5″. It also has a very shiny gloss finish coating it. Please take a look at the pictures. The best explanation will be in the images. This would make a wonderful addition to any collection, or this would make a great gift for any collector. Don’t forget to take a look at our other Magnolia items of this same design set and other styles.

Are you one of those people who is mechanically inclined? If yes, congratulations, then I can do simple auto repair I prefer not especially with the road cars these days are becoming more complicated. However, if you enjoy it and want to save money, you can put a little in finding the parts you need and install them yourself. One way you can reduce the cost of auto parts is to go for recycled auto parts.

You will find companies that specialize inrecycled auto parts you can offer some really good savings. When you first thing in May recyclers you think they are probably rare, but the truth is that there are many companies that offer this service. The pieces they have in most cases just like new and you pay a fraction of the price. One means by which they get the cars is insurance companies that fall from the cars that were deemed as high recyclers used parts.

You also assistthe environment by buying recycled parts because it's a good pollution caused by manufacturing new parts due to the fact they use a lot of oil to manufacture new parts. Like many other things that we as humans use, reuse of raw materials, as is very beneficial for our environment. There are more than four million cars recycled each year in the United States, so that should tell you that there are many rooms available there for a wide range of vehicles. The act of recycling has alsosaves and helps the environment by not filling unnecessary space in landfills. There is simply no reason to throw something that can still be used. You are also able to obtain the same quality parts using a recycler that you would get from parts of the original manufacturer.

Recycled parts have so many advantages of being environmentally conscious to save you much money, is one of the best ways possible to buy auto parts. If you are concerned about the quality of recycledauto parts that you should know that most recyclers give warranties on the parts they sell if you do not have to worry about whether they are good or not. They also generally large networks recyclers and other parts and can find the part you need quickly, efficiently and at a good price.

Cushman Trucksters are considered one of the best driving vehicles available because of their durability and long-term sustainable construction. Their reasonable price makes it a favorite of many greens keeping and landscaping that use vehicles of this kind every day for basic debris and transport equipment.

Proper maintenance will keep a Cushman Truckster run for years. In fact, these vehicles will often times out-live the quality of the engines inside. While the body, electrical components, engine, same tires continue to run the power of the strong may not be that modern models can provide. Rather than ridding the park of the old Cushman, REpower kits that are available to strongest, the most modern engines can be easily placed in the machine. These rebuild kits cost a fraction of the price of a new engine and give life to Truckster seniors by adding more power and engineering news.

Cushman Truckster small enginecan be easily replaced using a number of different rebuild kits available. One of the best options is a kit of REpower using a Honda engine 20HP V-Twin OHV.

A Honda 20HP V-Twin engine with overhead valve rebuild kit is best suited to replace any Cushman Truckster 18 or 22 HP small engine. Like any good rebuild kit, a kit of small Honda engines will include the engine itself, an exhaust system, engine assembly, a clutch adapter, installation completeinstructions and bolts and other items necessary to complete the installation. Before buying a kit of REpower, make sure you understand exactly what works and does not come in the package you buy.

Although relatively simple, repowering a Cushman Truckster with something like a 20 HP Honda engine takes some understanding and planning. It is not as simple as exchanging one engine to another. It is important to read the detailed instructions and takenote of what will and will not work exactly as before, and what additional parts may be required beyond those included in the kit. Here are some simple things to consider, especially using as rebuild kit for a Cushman Truckster.

Hydraulic system: If your Truckster features a hydraulic system that uses a transmission chain or belt, additional parts or kits may need to be controlled in order to make the system work properly.

Heating Equipment: Changing the mufflerMay make the heating apparatus off.

Power Converter: If your Truckster is 120 volts AC power converter, it may require additional changes to function after the repowering kit is installed. Because using a kit like the one for a Honda 20HP eliminates the alternator.

All these functions can be built again in the construction of the Truckster by other means. The amount of money saved by using a kit of reconstruction is often considered as wellworth the cost of a couple of hours of additional maintenance for these features back on line. Consideration of information on any rebuild kit before you buy will help you understand what additional work may need to be done.

Trucksters Cushman is the quality of construction machinery with an excellent track record of longevity and performance. Repowering their engines using a powerful 20HP Honda V-Twin engine small prolong the life of the vehicle while giving it the power available innewer models.

People with arthritis eventually need a total knee replacement in case of failure of other more conservative measures. These treatments include medications (anti-inflammatory and analgesic), physical therapy, topical agents (arthritis rubs), the intra-articular injections of glucocorticoids (given injections of cortisone into the knee joint), viscosupplementation (injections of lubricant in the knee joint), arthroscopy, and the timing.

Patients who received the full range of conservativemedical treatment and continue to have either pain or loss of function, are considered candidates for total knee replacement.

The traditional method of total knee replacement involves an incision through the major muscle located at the lower end of the inner thigh and slightly above the inner part of the extensive knee medial oblique (VMO). This large muscle is a stabilizer of the patella (kneecap) and a complication of knee replacement is patellarinstability.

More recently, minimally invasive techniques using smaller incisions are gaining popularity.

Before surgery, a careful assessment of the patient's medical history is made. Since it is likely that there will be a loss of blood, the patient may require either "report" their own blood or injections of erythropoietin (a hormone) to help stimulate production of red blood cells.

What happens with the knee replacement is that the surface of the femur (thigh bone) andthe surface of the tibia (leg bone below) are replaced with implants made of metal and plastic, which are cemented in. For the operation is successful, the surgeon, it will display proper surgical site, the appropriate sizing of components and proper alignment of the limb.

The post-operative rehabilitation has a long and takes four to ten weeks before a patient is "as good as they will be." Complications of the procedure include patellarinstability, infections, blood clots, blood loss, excessive pain, prolonged, and relaxation of spare parts.

In patients who have two bad knees, it's a good idea to have them both done at the same time, if possible.

Finally, it is important that there be coordination between primary care physicians and the patient's orthopedic surgeons. This is particularly true among patients with other medical problems that require attention. Often, the medications should be montored, temporarily interrupted or changed before the surgery.

Careful attention to detail, including preoperative management, surgical, and postoperative rehabilitation will ensure a good result in most cases.

Have you been totally confused by all the companies offering personal training certification? What is a certified NCSF or ACE exam? Are they good? Why is it so difficult to understand?

When I started learning how to become a personal trainer, I could not believe how unregulated and distributed the Personal Training industry had become in recent years. All I wanted to know was … What types of certifications are available in the United States who arerecognized by clients and fitness professionals for quality? Why should it be so hard?

Turns out that the fitness industry is one of the least regulated professions. The most important thing for trainers who want to learn before starting their career is how the industry is self-organized to highlight certification bodies trusted.

NCCA – The Only "Gold" Standard

Here are the key to all this … The National Certification Bodies (NCCA to http://www.noca.org) isthe main accrediting agency for programs in personal training certification in the United States.

Personal Trainer Certification from a certifying body on top NCCA accredited certification level personal trainers can win. In addition, most gyms, clients and people in the industry expect a personal trainer responsible for accreditation in one of the bodies NCCA certified.

These eight approved organizations offer a variety of fitness and personal training educationworkshops, equipment and qualifications. All are recognized as valid qualifications and training may be a crucial first step on the way to becoming a personal trainer.

General Certification Similarities

Each certification body has handled a little differently, but all require their "graduates" to take one or more proficiency exams. Many times these reviews include a specific person. (I think they all should, but unfortunately they do not.)

The eight NCCAaccredited organizations offer with their qualifications, their test materials preparation to study and prepare for their exams.

If you pass these exams, you will receive a certificate that will last a predetermined period, usually 1-3 years.

Once you are certified, each organization has different rules on how much credit "continuing education" (aka CEC or CEU) of their trainers must be taken during the year to maintain. They also require teachers torecertify when their certificates expire … for an additional fee, of course!

Consider an example … American College of Exercise (RAE) is a "Personal Trainer" certification that you can take to about $ 300. The certification is valid for two years. After two years is up, you have to pay about $ 400 for re-certification with ACE for another two years. This includes a new examination and registration fees. The $ 400 is the average of the renewal fee ($ 69) and 20 hoursCEC, you must take (and pay)

Although certification programs for many insist that you do not need to buy something to qualify for their exams, new teachers must be very familiar with the type of material on each particular examination. Each test group of core skills and knowledge (eg, anatomy and exercise science), but most have included various aspects (such as nutrition and sports coaches) that you may not even be aware of if you look from a different set ofmaterials.

Blessed Eight

Let's take a look at the eight groups of personal training certification have been blessed by the NCCA for us to eliminate non-accredited programs are advertised daily on the Web.

1. The American College of Exercise (ACE) offers a certification personal trainer and three certifications of health. A series of practical training programs are offered in major cities. These courses consist of fifteenteaching hours in two days. The organization also being home to prepare for the certification exam. These courses are about three to six months to complete and you can work at your own pace.

2. The National Council on force and Fitness (NCSF) offers a certification program for personal training and home study courses for exam preparation. He takes home the trophy nonsense acronym with a certificate entitled "NCSF-CPT. They have quite a selection of offers andcan choose between the home study and interactive workshops. When you've finished the course and exam preparation, you're ready to pass the certification exam. The review is available in more than four hundred test sites across the country.

3. The American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) offers two ways to prepare for their certification exam. They offer workshops in three days or exam preparation course home study. They also offer a popular Health / FitnessInstructor certification for people interested in teaching classes.

4. The National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) has a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) certification, among a host of other certifications. They are very well known in the fitness industry and many top fitness clubs accept their CPT certification. Examination of the CPT has strict limits (such as number of times you can pass the practice exams and time devoted to the examination) and must be done in person. It is alsoavailable in computer centers to test across the country.

5. National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) also known as the NSCA-PT, from the national strength and Conditioning Association. They offer two types of certifications, one known as CSCS certification and training personnel who NSCA-CPT.

6. The Cooper Institute (CI) is a new NCCA accredited organization offering a Personal Training Certification. The CI-CPT designation comes from Guywhich started the whole craze Aerobics with his book published in the 70 s called, well, "Aerobics"!

7. The National Exercise Trainers Association (NETA) is a new NCCA accredited. Although his reputation is yet to catch up with its quality, it seems to be certified when the student gets a lot for his money.

8. The National Federation of Professional and Trainers (NFPT) is also an NCCA accredited certification. NFPT offers a certified personal trainer(CPT) program with a lot of other courses "advanced" also available.

Training Organizations such certifying staff offer a variety of ways to make the necessary studies to become a certified coach. They were all at home, online classes and workshops and some offer correspondence courses in local colleges. Each has its own strengths and weaknesses that vary according to your training objectives.

Hopefully this clears some confusion about the qualityPersonal Training Certifications out there in the world today.
